- Non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passport (applicants for undergraduate degrees are advised to have the passports with at least 4-year validity), and a no criminal record.
- Good health condition and virtuous morality. Comply with Chinese Laws, regulations and rules of CIT.
- Excellent senior middle school graduates or those with equivalent degrees (applicants for undergraduate degrees).
- Applicants for undergraduate degree program normally should be under 25 years old.
- Applicants for majors in economics or sciences should have certain mathematical basis.

Program Description
It’s a four-year program. Students will be conferred graduation certificate upon completing all the courses and passing exams. Those who meet the requirements for the degree will be conferred bachelor’s degree certificate.
CIT takes a two-semester system: The first semester is from September to January the following year and the second semester is from February to July.
In the first academic year, intensive Chinese language training will be conducted. After passing HSK4, students can start major study (separate class) from the third semester choosing majors from the above table. Students passing HSK 5 and wishing to study other majors will need to make the application and pass the School assessment before studying in relevant majors with Chinese freshmen students.
Students with a good Chinese language level (passing HSK4 or above) can directly attend classes taught in Chinese in relevant majors and study with Chinese students after making the application and passing the School assessment. Most majors in CIT are available to foreign students.

Copy of passport (pages with personal information. For those who have study experiences in China, the study visa information page in China and residence permit information page are required).

submit translated versions in Chinese or English and get them notarized if certificates are written in other languages.
4. Certificate of HSK
If any.
*5. Certificate/diploma of highest education
Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
*6. Academic transcript of highest education
Submit translated versions in Chinese or English and get them notarized if the diploma and transcripts are written in other languages.
7. Other materials
If applicants are students or people in service, they should submit certificates provided by their school or workplace (submit translated versions in Chinese or English and get them notarized if certificates are written in other languages)
8. Supporting Documents: Certificate of Good Conduct
Provided by your current/previous school/company in Chinese/English to improve your success rate.

Applicants under the age of 18 should fill in “Letter of Guarantee for Students under 18 to Study in China” and provide guarantor’s personal information.
